NGN RELATED FUNCTIONS

NCNGN Circle will manage Operation & Maintenance of NGN Core Sites and provide 2nd line maintenance support to NGN Access Sites.
The technical interface/integration requirements of NGN Access Sites will also be facilitated by this Circle in coordination with IP/MPLS and Broadband Circle.
Each NGN Core site will be headed by DGM/Addl. GM Level officer, who will be responsible for O&M of NGN Core sites and will provide the 2nd line maintenance support for NGN Access sites to territorial Circles on regional basis.

- Nodal agency for coordination with M/s ITI Ltd. for E-10B Card reapir.
- Monitoring of AMC of NT Exchanges.
- Monitoring of support activities of C-DOT under MoU.
- Technical Inspection of Exchanges.
- Coordination with switch vendors for development & implementation of new software patch.
- Corrective maintenance support and telephonic assistance.
